About Cardwell RSL
Welcome to the Cardwell RSL Sub Branch, a proud part of the RSL Queensland family.
For over a century, the Queensland RSL have been dedicated to supporting Queensland’s Defence community, upholding our core values and assisting veterans and their families. At Cardwell RSL, our mission is clear: to provide unwavering care, solemn commemoration, and genuine camaraderie. These principles guide us in ensuring that veterans and their families can lead lives filled with dignity and respect.
The Cardwell RSL Sub Branch was founded in 1938 and built a permanent club house in 1996.
Our commitment extends beyond the present with QLD RSL’s 2030 Strategy on a Page, which outlines a vision to expand support networks, enhance recognition of our service personnel’s enduring legacy, and foster a profound sense of belonging and purpose within the veteran community.
As the largest ex-service organisation in Queensland, we stand ready to offer practical support, valuable assistance, trusted advice, and heartfelt camaraderie to current and former Australian Defence Force members and their families throughout the state.
Join us at Cardwell RSL Sub Branch as we continue to honor our heritage, serve our community, and uphold the spirit of mateship that defines us.
